McCarthy Fingar prides itself on its tradition of involvement in the community and in bar associations and related activities. Our lawyers are active in civic and charitable organizations in their own communities as well as in White Plains, Westchester and in the New York Metropolitan Region. McCarthy Fingar attorneys frequently lecture and give seminars on a wide variety of legal topics to professional, trade and community groups, and have appeared as guests on local cable television programs. Scholarly and popular articles on legal topics authored by our lawyers have been published in professional journals, trade publications and business periodicals. - Gail M. Boggio, who practices in the areas of Charitable Gift Planning, Exempt Organizations, Mediation & Arbitration, Surrogate’s Court Litigation, Taxation and Trusts & Estates, is a past President of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York.
- Joseph P. Harrington, who practices in the areas of Commercial Finance and Real Estate Transactions, is a past President of the White Plains Bar Association .
- The late Henry J. Smith was President of the New York State Bar Association.
